The Arteast group was asked to make an interactive sculpture by ‘Emergency Exit Arts’ it will be at Trafalgar Sq on Saturday 4th September. check out the Liberty Festival on the Emergency Exit Arts fab website.
The tree was designed by Ann-Marie Fairbrother and Audri Quasim and the group and consists of a plywood structure, supporting a scaffolding pole, in which we have fixed a clothes drying whirly gig.
The sculpture is designed to be interactive for young children, they will write on the walls, ‘messages from space’, postcards from earth, and draw pictures of aliens they have met.
People in the Arteast group have designed and made ‘Astro Goggles’ for the children to wear.
